Evans Bay Yacht and Motor Boat Club has a dedicated crew involved in steering the Club into the future.
Meet them below to find why they are involved and what they do around the Club.

As Commodore, Rick is ultimately the skipper and is responsible for the overall organisation and management.
You can contact Rick via commodore@ebymbc.org.nz
Vice Commodore
Jack is a relative new comer to the club and the sport of sailing, but that definitely doesn't dent his enthusiasm for the club and getting out on the water.Jack has his own Laser which he sails on club sailing days (and anything other day that he can).
As Vice Commodore, Jack is in charge of the sailing activities at the Club.
You can contact Jack via vicecommodore@ebymbc.org.nz
Rear Commodore
Jane has been involved with the Club for nearly thirty years. She began sailing as a crew on a Laser 2 with her husband Remy which is always a solid test of a relationship. Jane now sails a Paper Tiger, and has been crowned Women's National Champion multiple times.
As Rear Commodore, Jane has responsibility for the operation of the Clubhouse and land based social events including the bar.
You can contact Jane via rearcommodore@ebymbc.org.nz

As Club Captain, Davin has responsibility for the facilities maintenance here at EBYMBC.

Ryan, or "Rowdy" as he is known to everyone around here, has spent his life in yacht clubs. A qualified Chartered Accountant, he decided the corporate life wasn't for him and started down the coaching path before moving into yachting administration.
As General Manager, Rowdy is responsible for the overall operation and financial sustainability of the Club.
You can contact Rowdy via gm@ebymbc.org.nz
Bar Manager
Jackie doesn't like boats or going on the water. This is a great thing for EBYMBC, as she is our Bar Manager and looks after everyone on shore once they have had their fun in the sun (and on the water).
As Bar Manager, Jackie is responsible for the bar operation and keeping the smiles on everyones face when they are relaxing and reliving a great day.
