Bence and The Wasp have arrived in Nelson!

Arriving on Wednesday 5 Feb, 17 calendar days after virtually setting off from EBYMBC.

Because I'm a numbers guy, I had to provide some statistics for his trip:

• 17 calendar days
• 10 sailing adventures
• Average of 12Nm per day on the water
• 22.29Nm - furthest travelled in 1 day

And they haven't stopped, having already clocked up another 15Nm they are now buzzing their way south on a 175Nm virtual voyage to Lyttleton.

As for the combined efforts, the total club effort sees us around both North Cape and Cape Reinga as of yesterday and we are now heading down the North Island's west coast towards Cape Egmont where we can expect an exceptional view of Taranaki Maunga.

The Keelboats are continuing their battle up to seemingly never ending Wairarapa Coast, while the Trailer Yachts are east of Tokomaru Bay.

The photo was taken Bence took when he arrived in "Nelson", which looks very similar to Days Bay :).
