Have you...

... ever wished you could spend a day on the harbour cruising or racing?
... just purchased a boat, and are unsure of what to do?
... dreamed of sailing off into the sunset or winning the America's Cup?

Then Evans Bay Sailing Academy has just the answer.

The Academy offers courses to introduce adults and children over the age of 10 to sailing. No experience is required. All the instructors are volunteers, trained to Yachting New Zealand requirements and courses are run in accordance with YNZ guidelines and standards.

The Club owns a fleet of training boats including:

Phase Two's (doublehanded adult centreboards),
Optimist's (single handed junior dinghies) and
International Cadets (junior and youth doublehanded centreboard)
420s (two handed national class centerboard yacht with spinnaker and trapeze) and
RS Feva (doublehanded adult centreboards).

Lifejackets are also supplied.

More advanced tuition, and training in your own boat, can also be arranged. All sizes and types of boat catered for.
